Q. Do Century Storage facilities offer outside storage or parking?
A. Many of Century Storage facilities offer outside storage for boats, cars, RV’s and trailers.

Q. Do Century Storage facilities provide security?
A. All our facilities are well lit, have video cameras on the premises and keypad entry and exit which can only be accessed by current tenants. Of course, our resident managers live on site.

Q. What forms of payment do Century Storage facilities accept?
A. Along with accepting cash, checks and money orders we accept most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also offer our FREE “Automatic Credit Card Payment Plan”. With your authorization, we can charge the credit card of your choice your monthly rental payment and even mail you a receipt if you wish.

Q. Does Century Storage offer prorated rent?
A. No, we do not prorate rent. Your due date will be the monthly anniversary date of when you rented your storage unit.

Q. Do Century Storage facilities charge a deposit or any fees?
A. We do not require a deposit. A one-time-per-unit administrative fee is required with your first month’s rent when you rent a storage unit.

Q. Do Century Storage’s facilities require a minimum number of months you must rent a unit?
A. Unless noted in any special offer, there is no minimum number of months you can store, but the minimum payment is one month plus the administrative fee.

Q. When may I access my storage unit?
A. All Century Storage facilities offer gate access 365 days a year 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. For security reasons, our facilities do not offer 24 hour access.

A. We would like to have 5 days notice if possible.

Q. Can I drive right up to my unit?
A. All of Century Storage facility’s non air-conditioned storage units can accommodate you driving right up to your unit. Air-conditioned units are located in hallways inside a building. Ask your facility manager about free flat cart usage to move things in and out of your unit.

A. Yes. All our facilities offer air-conditioned storage units.

Q. Why should I consider opting for an air-conditioned storage unit rather than one without?
A. While this is a decision only you can make, Century Storage facility managers can advise you on which would be better suited to your needs. If you are storing leather furniture, high-end electronics or antiques or will be storing on a long term basis, we usually recommend an air-conditioned unit.

Q. Does Century Storage provide me lock when I rent a storage unit?
A. No. You must purchase your own lock. All our facilities have locks available for purchase.

Q. How do I know what size storage unit I need?
A. Century Storage’s managers always offer knowledgeable, courteous service to our customers and tenants. We’ll be happy to help you determine the size unit you need and show you our different sized units.

Q. Can I conduct business out of my storage unit?
A. Century Storage facilities are only able to rent storage units for storage. If, however, your business could use off-site storage we will be happy to accommodate. With your authorization, we will be happy to allow delivery personnel access to your unit to make deliveries for you.

Q. Do Century Storage facilities provide pest control?
A. While the managers have no access inside your unit, hallways and perimeters are treated regularly to control pest infestation and of course, your unit is sprayed inside prior to your moving in. Also, our tenants are most helpful in following our guideline of keeping no perishable items or items that would act as bait for pests.
