As you begin your storage process, questions are bound to pop up. From storage unit sizes to the features that best fit your needs, our team at Century Storage has the answers you need! We’ll provide you with common answers to some of the most frequently asked self storage questions.
The storage unit you choose depends on several factors, including what you plan to store and what storage unit type you’re eyeballing. For more information about each storage unit option, view our size guide and space estimator.
We require a government-issued ID and a signed lease for you to rent a storage unit. Examples of government-issued IDs are a driver’s license, a state ID, and a passport.
We require a government issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).
We prohibit liquids, explosives, flammable materials, perishables, and toxic substances from being stored at our storage facilities.
We require you to give your storage facility management 15 days’ notice before you move out of your storage unit.
Climate controlled storage units are spaces kept at regulated temperatures to help shield your temperature-sensitive items, like electronics and wooden furniture, from extreme Florida heat and moisture. While not all our storage facilities offer climate controlled storage, several do. Find your climate controlled storage facility online today!
Yes! Several of our storage facilities in Central Florida offer uncovered, covered, and indoor RV and boat storage. These vehicle storage spaces come in several sizes to accommodate different-sized vehicles.
That’s your decision! Access is granted electronically by using your personal identification number, which can be changed anytime. Whoever you give your PIN to can enter your storage unit.
We do! All our storage facilities have handcarts and dollies available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each of our storage facilities comes with unique security features for added protection against the outside world. Some of these security features include:
- 24/7 video recording system
- Controlled gate access
- Extended access hours
- Fully fenced storage facilities
- Ground-level storage units
- Brightly lit storage facilities
For added security, access hours are limited to 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. To enter your storage unit outside these hours, contact management.
You can make a payment in person, with a mailed-in check or money order, or through our online payment portal. We also allow you to set up payments to be automatically deducted from your credit or debit card.
We accept checks, money orders, all major credit cards, and cash payments during regular office hours.
